Ancien-nes artistes en résidences\, membres fondateur-trices\, professeur-es\, usager-ères\, ces artistes nous révèlent les histoires sociales et politiques qui traversent la matière et qui la chargent. Former artists-in-residence\, founding members\, teachers – these artists reveal the social and political histories that run through the material and charge it. In the zine you’ll find archives of the workshop’s 6 years of existence\, interviews with the founding members and texts written by five of our members setting out their reflections on La Coulée and metalwork.

DESCRIPTION: les sans-taverne (1900 Rue Le Ber\, Montréal) 16h à 20h\n—\n 𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 / 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 \nVenez profiter de cette ambiance musicale relevée!Voici quelques principes pour le jam et des lignes directrices pour rendre l’expérience plus agréable pour tout le monde :\n1. Écoutez activement! Si vous ne connaissez pas la mélodie ou les accords\, essayez de jouer un peu plus doucement et suivez quelqu’un-e qui les connaît.\n2. Donnez à quelqu’un-e d’autre l’occasion de jouer! Le nombre de places assises sera limité afin de minimiser les risques de chaos musical. Les joueurs les plus expérimenté-es se sont portés volontaires pour s’asseoir un peu plus longtemps et faire en sorte que les airs continuent à circuler.\n3. Si vous n’avez pas eu l’occasion de jouer et que l’heure de la fin approche\, demandez avant de vous asseoir ou de traîner une chaise! C’est l’étiquette habituelle des jams.\n4. Si vous n’êtes pas sûr de quelque chose\, demandez-le!L’idée ici est de favoriser la cohésion musicale afin que les joueurs puissent entendre\, apprendre et finalement s’amuser. Avec un créneau de 3h et une salle remplie de gens géniaux-les et conscient-es d’eux-mêmes\, nous devrions être en mesure d’inclure tout le monde et de nous éclater!\n—\nA monthly evening at les sans-taverne! « String Band Sundays”.Come sit in and play some tunes or enjoy the lively musical atmosphere! The following are some jam-principles/guidelines to make the experience more enjoyable for everyone :\n1. Listen a lot! If you don’t know the tune or chords\, try to play a little more quietly and follow someone who does.\n2. Give someone else a turn to play! Seating will be limited to a number that minimizes the chances of musical chaos. More experienced players have volunteered to sit for a little longer and keep the tunes flowing.\n3. If you haven’t had a chance to play and it’s getting towards wrap-up time\, ask before you stand in or drag a chair over! Standard jam etiquette.\n4. If you’re not sure about anything\, ask me! The idea here is to favour musical cohesion so that players can hear and learn and ultimately have fun. With a 3hr window and a room full of awesome self-aware people\, we should be able to include everyone and have a blast!
