As a survivor of intimate partner violence\, she makes use of her artistic process and platform to bring attention and tangible change to social justice issues\, especially the concerning rise in femicides\, and create a community of change-makers. Being interconnected organisms\, she is enthusiastic about creating sci-art and conducting interdisciplinary research as each unique background helps to cultivate meaningful change & creations. She is also passionate about co-creating with community as this process of generating creative ideas\, rescripting & refabrication of stories can be a transformative catalyst in rooting a networked community of thrivers.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Tout au long de l’année à venir\, notre atelier sera réservé chaque troisième jeudi du mois à des rencontres destinées aux personnes queer et racialisées.\n\nParce que le travail du métal peut parfois être dissuasif ou excluant\, ces moments ont pour objectif de se réapproprier les outils\, les savoirs et l’espace\, tout en créant collectivement dans un cadre bienveillant.\n\nL’atelier sera ouvert et accompagné par Negar Nakhai\, artiste interdisciplinaire et ancien·ne membre de notre équipe technique\, qui offrira un soutien technique au besoin.\n\nQue ce soit pour découvrir l’atelier pour la première fois\, poser vos questions\, avancer sur vos projets personnels\, tisser des liens avec d’autres membres ou simplement partager un moment ensemble\, vous êtes les bienvenu·e·s.\n\nInfos pratiques\n\nCoût d’accès à l’atelier: L’accès à l’atelier est à contribution volontaire (PWYC)\n\nCoût des matériaux : Les éléments suivants sont disponibles gratuitement: chutes de métal\, métal d’apport et gaz de protection (pour le soudage MIG et TIG)\, ainsi que les consommables usagés. J’aime voir une image comme quelque chose de vivant\, qui évolue même après la prise de vue\, une exploration qui vise à déconstruire pour révéler et questionner notre manière de percevoir le monde.\nMon travail est une invitation à défaire les images comme on dénoue un fil. Je superpose les textures\, les couleurs\, les formes. Je tente de créer des images qui ne se laissent pas saisir d’un seul regard\, des images qui incitent à douter\, à questionner\, à ralentir\, à ressentir autrement.\nPour moi\, la photographie n’est pas quelque chose de figé\, mais plutôt un espace de possibles\, modifiable à l’infini\, preuve que le visible n’est pas évidence ».

DESCRIPTION:Le SAS se lance dans une série d’ateliers & formations pratiques où ses membres partagent leurs connaissances en processus créatifs et techniques dans un cadre convivial et informel !\n\n CYANOTYPE SUR TISSU 101\n Date: samedi 8 novembre 2025\, 10h à 13h (6 places disponibles\, 17 ans et +\n Lieu : Local de l’atelier SAS\, au 2e étage du Bâtiment 7\n\nPlongez dans l’univers fascinant du cyanotype\, une technique de photographie alternative à la couleur traditionnellement bleue. Cet atelier d’introduction vous guidera à travers toutes les étapes nécessaires pour créer de magnifiques photogrammes sur tissu. De l’application de la solution photosensible à l’exposition et au développement des tirages\, vous repartirez avec votre propre création unique: un tissu cyanotypé fait avec du coton bio à multiples usages!\n\n*PRÉREQUIS ? Aucun prérequis nécessaire!\nMATÉRIEL ? Tout le matériel nécessaire à la formation est fourni. L’artiste nous invite dans son univers d’arts thérapeutiques et cathartiques\, mettant des images sur des émotions viscérales. Cette exposition dessine un parcours vers la guérison de 2018 à maintenant.\nLors du vernissage\, 𝖬Ö𝖱𝖦𝖹 nous propose de nommer ses œuvres\, créant ainsi un partage interactif d’émotions et d’interprétations personnelles.\nVenez les voir\, le vendredi 3 octobre à 17h!\nLes œuvres seront affichées pendant tout le mois d’octobre.\n—𝖬Ö𝖱𝖦𝖹 presents the series Ｔ Ｒ Ａ Ｕ Ｍ Ａ for the spookiest month of the year at the microbrasserie les sans-taverne.\nThis series is composed of canvases\, drawings\, and small clay sculptures created following a traumatic event in 2018. This exhibition traces a journey toward healing from 2018 to the present.\nAt the opening\, 𝖬Ö𝖱𝖦𝖹 invites us to name their works\, creating an interactive sharing of emotions and personal interpretations.\nCome see them on Friday\, October 3rd at 5 p.m.\nThe works will be displayed throughout the month of October.
