Accessibility

Public Transportation
Building 7 is accessible by bus (lines 57 or 71) from the Charlevoix metro station (approximately a 20-minute walk).

Physical Accessibility

Our renovated sections have facilities that make access easier for people with reduced mobility or those using wheelchairs. However, we are not yet fully accessible to everyone, and some people with mobility issues may need assistance reaching their destination within the building.

There is a long wooden ramp leading to the main entrance. Access to the ramp is via Le Ber Street. From there, you can follow the wooden terasse to the main entrance, as well as access the grocery store and Recyborg. In winter, the ramp’s accessibility varies depending on weather conditions.

The main door is automated. This is currently the only automatic door in the building.

There is an elevator that can be used to access the second floor. It is somewhat complex to operate, so it is recommended to ask for assistance the first time. Since it does not have automatic doors, it can be difficult for people using wheelchairs. Nevertheless, many people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility use it to access the second floor.

The restrooms are gender-neutral on both floors, and there is one on each floor with facilities for people with reduced mobility or those using wheelchairs (no automatic doors).

Some of the unrenovated areas of the building do not yet have facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility. Please see the specific information for these areas for details.

The building is still under development. We hope to continuously improve its accessibility as work progresses, as well as this information page. If you have specific needs or accessibility suggestions that are not mentioned here, please feel free to contact us at info@batiment7.org.suggestions.
