The SAS workshop in Bâtiment 7 is looking for someone to share a creative space!
Le SAS is made up of 2 professional artists from the fields of visual and performing arts, and textile creation (mainly puppetry & sewing). We have a practice and/or interest in teaching, community and therapeutic art. We’re looking for a 3rd person to fill our relatively small studio (250 sq. ft. in total). Each person has a personal corner (work table or other, small storage space) and a common work surface. One industrial straight seam sewing machine is available for sharing, among other things.
The space is friendly, conducive to concentration and inspiration, yet open to a variety of collaborations!
Being at Bâtiment 7 also means being part of an innovative and unique project of collective autonomy. Anyone interested is invited to participate in the collective life of Bâtiment 7 by becoming a member, voting at general assemblies and getting involved in various committees.
We recognize and welcome the unique contributions of people from marginalized and oppressed communities. Consequently, we especially encourage these people to apply. We invite people to elaborate, if they wish, on the contributions related to their experiences and situations that they can bring to the SAS workshop.
